Studiul intens asupra comportamentului de hranire al crapilor a dat viata unui concept inrudit cu tehnica method intr-o oarecare masura. Este clar ca zonele comprimate cu nada sunt cele mai bune metode unde poti masca un carlig cu momeala. Eficienta este demonstrata prin tehnica method feeder. Peletele mai exact, daca nu sunt corect pregatite, vor aduce efecte negative partidei. Se pot detasa de un momitor method la impactul cu apa foarte usor. Curentii de apa generati de miscarea pestilor vor face ca nada sa se amestece cu usurinta cu stratul superficial de depunere de pe substrat. Acesta poate fi unul de tip colmatare spre exemplu. Daca sursa de hrana a fost identificata, va fi culeasa fara multa agitatie, pastrand interesul pestilor ridicat. Calitatea peletelor scoate la iveala o alta latura a comportamentului crapilor. Elimina suspiciunea in hranire . Crapii nu mai sunt defensivi si se vor apropia de sursa fara inhibitii. Aspectul conic ajuta la formarea, in urma incarcarii, unor zone unde peletele nu stau bine lipite. Este prevazuta cu fante de diverse forme si lungimi pe unde apa se poate infiltra cu usurinta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Partea din mijloc este caracterizata de o zona mai generoasa ( prin volum ) unde se pot fixa extrem de bine atat peletele de nadire cat si momeala de carlig. Deschiderea este extrem de generoasa. Buza superioara a momitorului este mai scurta decat baza.
